Geelong's imperious form has continued in Round 11 of the AFLW season as the Cats recorded their 10th consecutive win, defeating Fremantle by 30 points at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

With their victory over the Dockers, the Cats move their record to 10-1 for the season and strengthen their grip on a top two spot, but they have already locked away a top four finish and a double chance in Finals, with one game to go in the home-and-away season.

After an entertaining opening term of football, Geelong tightened the screws defensively and limited Fremantle to just a solitary behind between the second and third quarters, slowly building a strong lead and pulling away after half time.

The Cats took a slightly different looking forward structure into Saturday's match but it did not matter, with Chantal Mason (19 disposals) making the most of her opportunities and finishing with a game-high three goals, continuing her brilliant form in the 2026 season.

Nina Morrison (27 disposals) led from the front and dominated through the middle of the ground, Rachel Kearns (six score involvements, seven intercepts) had a significant impact throughout the contest, while Becky Webster (nine intercept possessions) was resolute in defence and helped to repel numerous attacks from the Dockers.

As they have in previous weeks, the Cats looked dangerous from the get-go on Saturday and wasted no time troubling the scorers, with Rachel Kearns kicking the opening goal of the match just two minutes into the contest.

Chantal Mason stamped her authority on the contest with a pair of goals, before Georgie Prespakis capped off a brilliant quarter of football with a remarkable solo effort, giving the Cats a 13-point lead at the first break.

Plenty of star Cats made a bright start to the game, but perhaps none were better than Nina Morrison, who collected a game-high 12 disposals in the first quarter alone, double the tally of the next best players on the ground.

The scoring dried up and the pressure intensified in the second term, but Geelong were able to lockdown defensively and it helped to extend their lead, the margin growing to 20 points at half time.

Kearns was a key contributor for the Cats in the opening half, working hard at both ends of the ground and finishing with 10 disposals, four intercept possessions and two goals.

Morrison continued her hot start and finished the half with 17 disposals, Prespakis was electric once again with five clearances and three score involvements, while Mason also added 10 disposals and six marks to go with her two goals.

Geelong's dominance around the ground started to show on the scoreboard after the main break, with the Cats limiting Fremantle to a scoreless quarter of football and continuing to pull away, building a commanding 42-point lead by three quarter time.

With the four points all but secured, Geelong did what they needed to and professionally closed out the contest in the final term, finishing off a 30-point victory over the Dockers.

The Cats will be back at home for their final game of the regular season next Friday night, as they take on the Western Bulldogs with a top-two finish and the right to host a Qualifying Final at stake.
