Geelong's frantic finish to the penultimate day of the AFLW trade period continues, with the Cats securing experienced forward Jasmin Stewart as a delisted free agent.

Stewart becomes the third new player to join the club this evening, after the Cats swung a trade with St Kilda for defender Nicola Stevens, while also adding Alissa Brook as a free agent.

Bringing 42 games of experience at the top level, Stewart is an impressive forward with plenty of natural talent from Western Australia, who also possesses a great goal sense and a ferocious tackling ability.

Stewart's AFLW career commenced in 2018, when she was selected by Fremantle with pick four in the Draft.

She did not play a game at the top level in her inaugural season with the Dockers, but went on to feature in 22 matches across the next three seasons, before retiring from football and returning to the WAFLW.

After spending a season away from the AFLW, Stewart returned in 2023 and signed with Port Adelaide in the Supplementary Draft.

Stewart would spend a further three seasons with the Power and featured in 20 games, before being delisted at the end of 2025.
