Georgie Prespakis has further added to her sensational 2025 season, recording a runner-up finish in the 2025 AFLW Best and Fairest award.

Earlier in the night, Prespakis received the second All-Australian blazer of her career, adding to her second Geelong Best and Fairest award which she claimed two weeks earlier.

It was a riveting vote count that came down to the wire, Prespakis (20 votes) narrowly falling short to North Melbourne's Ash Riddell (23 votes).

Despite Geelong winning five games this year, the star on-baller polled votes in eight different games and was adjudged best on ground on five different occasions.

Finishing with a flurry, Prespakis polled the maximum three-votes in Rounds 9, 11 and 12, with the last one momentarily putting her in a tie at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final game of the season.

Riddell would also poll three votes in her final game of the regular season, meaning Prespakis would finish in second position.

Prespakis dominated from start to finish this year and her consistency was remarkable, amassing 20 disposals or more in 10 of her 12 games to finish with a career-high average of 25.8 disposals per game.

Across the course of the season, Prespakis accumulated a number of career-highs which included clearances (6.8 per game), inside 50s (4.8), contested possessions (14.6) and score involvements (4.8), sitting in the top three at Geelong for nearly every major statistical category.

But her dominance was not restricted to just the club, with Prespakis finishing in the top 10 players in the AFLW for average disposals (eighth), clearances (first), inside 50s (fourth) and contested possessions (third).

The All-Australian blazer follows on from Prespakis' second Geelong Best and Fairest award in three seasons, where she polled 185 votes to finish 75 clear of Nina Morrison in second place.
