Geelong Cats can provide the following Deakin AFLW Health Update ahead of the Cats’ Round 9 match against the GWS Giants at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.

In positive news, the Cats expect Julia Crockett-Grills to return this week after the experienced midfielder was sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained in the Round 6 win against Port Adelaide.

Crockett-Grills has missed the last two matches after starting the season in strong form, averaging a career-high 14 disposals across the first half of the season while hitting the scoreboard on five occasions.

In other news, Emma Kilpatrick made a successful return in Sunday’s game against Carlton, after missing one match due to concussion.
