Amy McDonald was the lone Cat to feature in the coachess votes, receiving one vote for her performance in Sunday's loss to Carlton.

Putting together a terrific performance through the midfield, McDonald finished the afternoon with a team-high 25 disposals and six clearances, while also laying seven tackles to help inspire her side.

Able to push forward out of stoppages, McDonald also registered five inside 50s and five score involvements, while picking off another five intercept possessions to be among the best players on the ground.

Despite not receiving votes this week, Georgie Prespakis remains in a tie for second place on the overall leaderboard.

Every week, the two senior coaches for each game award votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can receive in each round.

The player with the most votes at the end of the home-and-away season will win the Sharp EIT Solutions AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.
