Geelong Cats can provide the following Deakin AFLW Health Update ahead of the Cats’ Round 7 match against Hawthorn at GMHBA Stadium on Thursday.
Kate Darby has overcome her calf injury and has resumed full training. As such, she is now available for selection.
Following an incident on Saturday, Emma Kilpatrick has entered into the AFL concussion protocol and will be unavailable for selection.

“Julia Crockett-Grills came from the ground in the fourth quarter against Port Adelaide with a hamstring concern. Julia is currently undergoing further assessment, and we will have a better idea of her return to play timelines later in the week, however she will be unavailable for selection on Thursday against the Hawks.”
Shelley Scott Calf, 5-6 weeks
“Shelley is progressing through her rehab and has now returned to running. She will continue to work through her recovery with an aim to be available for selection back end of the season.”
