The squad of 30 players in contention for selection for the 2025 rebel VFLW Team of the Year has been announced.

Two Geelong players, Abby Favell and Hayley Peck have been selected in the initial squad. 

Favell was dominant in the midfield all season averaging 22 disposals, nine tackles and five clearances per game.

Peck was the standout ruck for the Cats collecting 15 disposals, 24 hit-outs and seven hit-outs to advantage per game. 

The final team of 21 players will be named on Monday, September 15 at the 2025 VFL and VFLW Awards. A captain and coach of will also be selected.

The full list of club representation was – Box Hill Hawks (four), Carlton (three, including Charlotte Brewer), Collingwood (six, including Charlotte Brewer), Darebin Falcons (two), Essendon (three), Geelong Cats (two), North Melbourne-Werribee (six), Port Melbourne (one), Sandringham (one), Western Bulldogs (one) and Williamstown (two). Casey Demons did not have a representative named.
 
Players must have played a minimum of seven matches this season to be eligible for selection.
