O'Sullivan on the prospect of playing his first Final

It is obviously very exciting.

You dream of it as a kid and to get the opportunity at the MCG, to be able to play against a club that we have had some big games against recently, it is a massive prospect.

I am super pumped.

O'Sullivan on the difference 12 months can make

I was pretty lucky last year that I got to play with Tom Hawkins in the VFL Finals, so you get a little bit of a taste of greatness there.

But for me this year, the step up to now be able to play in AFL Final. I got to watch from the sidelines as the AFL program went through that last year, so now to hopefully get the opportunity to replicate that is super exciting.

It is an amazing time to be at the footy club.

O'Sullivan on the challenge against Brisbane

Probably less so for me, but a few other boys probably have a bit of a sour taste in their mouth. Obviously we played them twice this year and they have done us both times.

They are a really quality opposition, hopefully it will be a really cracking game.

I think we have had some great games against them, this year they have come out on top both times but especially in the first game, we really took it up to them.

Hopefully it will be an amazing contest.

O'Sullivan on whether he will review Round 15

To say that you wouldn't reflect on the games that you have played against them would be silly.

Like I said we have played against them twice now, so I think I have had a really good opportunity to figure out what the matchups will be like, and how they like to play.

That is a bit of an advantage, probably to both teams having to play against each other.

For me it will be reflecting on what my strengths are, just reiterating my routine and that sort of stuff away from the game to make sure I am ready to roll.

O'Sullivan on dealing with an extended break

I would like to think that I am a pretty relaxed person in terms of my mental preparation.

For us it is about treating this week and next week as if it was any other week. We have byes throughout the year and games where we have extended breaks, so it is a good chance throughout the year and something that the coaches reiterated to us, is that it could happen in Finals.

We have to find a routine that works for us and things we can do to get away from the game, but also to make sure that we sharpen the sword so we are ready to go.

For me this week is about finding a bit of a balance between resetting, trying not to think about footy too much and then when we get into next week, being ready to go.
