In exciting news for Cats fans, experienced trio Cam Guthrie, Mitch Duncan and Jake Kolodjashnij are all set to return next week ahead of the Cats’ AFL Round 22 and VFL Round 20 games against Essendon.
Duncan is set to return from an AC joint injury, while the Club was cautious with Guthrie’s return, opting to hold him over and provide him an additional week to recover from a calf injury, with the aim to return ahead of VFL Round 20.
After a minor procedure last month to help manage ongoing groin symptoms, Kolodjashnij is set to play managed minutes in a weeks’ time after increasing his training loads in recent weeks.
Ollie Henry has entered the AFL’s concussion protocol following an incident in the VFL on the weekend, with the Club to know more around his possible return timeline as he progresses through the graded return to play protocol.
