Mullin on returning to September
It is pretty exciting to be back in Finals.
Obviously we are coming in with some pretty good form, with six wins in a row.
It is a good place to be at this time of year.Â
Mullin on his tagging roles
I usually find out a bit later and closer to the game, so you don't over focus on it.
I guess the what the Wildcard brings now is that we have this weekend off, so it gives us an opportunity to watch the two games of footy.
We can just take it as a sport and not get too overly invested in individuals, until we know who we are playing. Then we can work through it with the coaches.Â
Mullin on the evolution of his game
I am seeing a little bit more of the footy this year than I have previously, which is enjoyable.
Instead I am just trying to evolve that and be as impactful as I can for the team, going forward as well as the defensive role and the tagging of opposition players.Â
Mullin on his goals entering 2026
Obviously at the start of the year, in an ideal world you would be playing every game.
Just trying to keep your body right and keep performing, offering up for the team. You put yourself in the best position for the coaches to pick you each week.
Thankfully it has gone like that so far this year, managing to get every game in which is really enjoyable.
It has been really good for me personally.Â
Mullin on his physical development
I guess this year, the evolution for me has been spending a lot more time on-ball.
Being in and around the middle where it is a bit more physical, rather than just the aerobic side and running when I was playing more of a half back role.
Just working pretty closely with the physios and the strength and conditioning team, just keeping the body right.
Listening to what advice they give me and not over doing it.Â
Mullin on the confidence amongst the team
Just the collective team that we have, if you are not confident that you can win a premiership coming into September, I feel like you're in a bit of bother.
As the collective group, you have to be striving towards that.
The team we have and the performances that we have put in this year, we know we can compete with the best when we are at our best.
That is something that fills us with a lot of confidence.Â
