Geelong is mourning the passing of past player David Pescott, who passed away this week at the incredible age of 100.

A passionate follower of the Geelong Football Club, Pescott played three reserve grade games for the Cats between 1946 and 1947 and was appointed Club Secretary in March 1955, a role he served in until 1958.

On the 24^th of June this year Pescott celebrated his 100^th birthday, before unfortunately passing away at the end of last week just after watching his beloved Cats defeat the Saints.  

Among his many talents, Pescott was also a keen golfer and hit three holes in one throughout his life, while also having a keen interest in rowing, cricket and bowls.

The Club sends its heartfelt condolences to David’s family and friends.
