A pair of youngsters from Geelong's latest draft crop are set to pull on the Hoops for the first time this weekend, headlining the inclusions for the VFL Cats clash with Richmond at GMHBA Stadium on Sunday. 

Jacob Molier and Lenny Hofmann have been named for the important Round 15 match, both players overcoming an interrupted start of their inaugural season at Geelong after being selected in the 2024 AFL draft. 

Standing at over 200cm tall, Molier is a mobile ruckman drafted out of the SANFL, bringing an element of versatility with the ability to swing forward and have an impact in front of the big sticks. 

Hofmann was selected out of the Sandringham Dragons and St Kilda's Next Generation Academy, a dashing defender with an elite ability to read the play and take intercept marks. 

Excitingly for Cats fans, Sunday's clash will mark the first time that all seven of Geelong's 2024 draftees have featured in a match together. 

Patrick Hughes returns to the line-up for the first time since Round 8, while Tom Peirce has been selected as the 23rd player. 

George Stevens comes out of the line-up after earning his AFL debut against Richmond on Saturday while Doyle Madigan, Nathan Kreuger and Will Rantall all make way.
