Condo on her new role
As head of the women's program, I oversee all parts of women's footy.
So that is things from strategy to performance, to staff and player development.
I work really closely with the coaches, high performance team and club leaders to make sure that our players can thrive on and off the field.
Hopefully this sets ourselves up for sustainable success.
Condo on her background
Yes it is a new role for me, but I have been in elite sport for the last decade.
I have worked at Richmond Football Club and Geelong Football Club in the AFL program across high performance, athlete development and strategy.
I also work at Deakin University as an academic in sport science and sports nutrition, so I have had quite a lot of experience in the world of high performance sport.
Condo on the Cats pre-season
There is a really great vibe with the group at the moment, it is a really exciting part of pre-season.
The group has come back with a lot of energy and a great, clear focus.
This part of the year is all about setting up those foundations for success over the season, so we are really working on our speed and our contest game.
We are working on our connection across the field, again we are really working on making sure we are setting those standards that will set us up for a really good year.
Condo on the health of Geelong's list
I think like a lot of clubs at this time of year, we have got a few players that are on modified programs but overall we are tracking really well.
We are taking a conservative approach to a lot of our individual loads, just to make sure that we give ourselves the best opportunity for availability in Round 1.
We have had a few players that have had some successful surgeries in Rachel, Sienna and Chloe and they are back in the rehab program and doing really well.
Condo on how the Cats can improve
Last year we showed that we can compete with the best, that is really exciting and what we want to build from going forward this season.
We are going to really focus on our game IQ, making sure we are able to make those really important decisions under pressure.
Also our role clarity, so all players really understand the role that they play in any situation and that is really important.
Most importantly we are working on the belief within our group and their footy ability, so they really back themselves in those high pressure situations.
