The VFL Cats have made seven changes ahead of Friday night's clash with the Footscray Bulldogs. 

In exciting news for Geelong fans, Cam Guthrie headlines the inclusions with the premiership Cat named for his first game of the 2025 season, while exciting recruit Jack Martin is also set to pull on the Hoops for the first time. 

Mitch Knevitt will make his return from injury via the VFL, with Oli Wiltshire also named for Friday night's match. 

Cats VFL captain, Dan Capiron has been added to the side after missing last week, alongside Kobe George and Tobyn Murray.

Ted Clohesy comes out of the team after earning a recall to the Cats AFL side, while Jhye Clark will miss this week after entering the AFL's concussion protocol. 

Todd White, Tanner Lewis, Ethan Borys, Will Sheahan and Lewis Antonac have all been omitted. 

The VFL Cats will head up the highway to Mission Whitten Oval on Friday night, as they look to get back on the winner's list when they take on the Footscray Bulldogs from 5.05pm AEST.
