KEY DETAILS
2025 AFL Season - Round Two St Kilda v Geelong Cats Marvel Stadium, Melbourne Saturday March 22, 7.35pm AEDT
The last time Geelong squared off with St Kilda came in round 23 last year, with the Cats falling by 18 points under the roof at Marvel Stadium.
Fresh off a big win over the Dockers in Perth, Geelong continued their hot form in the first half building a 33 point lead at the main break, before the Saints came charging back into the contest after half time.
Jack Bowes starred for the Cats finishing with 31 disposals and 782 metres gained, while Jeremy Cameron (16 disposals, three goals) and Lawson Humphries (24 disposals, nine intercept possessions) both fought hard all game.
Amongst all the off-season acquisitions, the young gun flew under the radar during the preseason but he certainly did not miss a beat in the Cats first game of the year.
Looking as calm and composed as ever, Humphries collected 23 disposals, seven marks and six score involvements in the dominant win against Fremantle.
Humphries also impressed in the last clash with St Kilda, finishing the night with 24 disposals and nine intercept possessions.
