At the venue where he averaged 4.3 goals per game in 2023, Jeremy Cameron has received plenty of plaudits from the coaches for his five-goal, 17-disposal haul against Carlton.

Gryan Miers also took home seven votes, his fourth time in the votes in the last six weeks.

Fresh off of signing a contract extension, Max Holmes was the only other Cat to poll, as Geelong claimed the four points in front of a record home crowd in the home-and-away season.

The AFL Coaches Association’s AFL Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
