A trio of Geelong young guns have been named in the AFL Players' Association AFLW 22under22 team, presented by Snaffle.

Midfield stars Georgie Prespakis and Nina Morrison were both voted into the team by fans, along with intercepting defender Annabel Johnson.

Prespakis, 19, has built on a brilliant debut season, producing even stronger numbers in her second season of AFLW to establish herself as one of the premier midfielders in the competition.

Wearing the number 41 and donning the long-sleeves, it was Prespakis' footy that proved most eye-catching, with the teenager averaging 21.8 disposals, 7.2 tackles and 5.7 clearances a game in Season 7.

Morrison has also been relishing the continuity two full seasons have afforded her after coming back from her second knee reconstruction. The 21-year-old averaged 16.1 disposals, 5.7 tackles and 2.1 clearances a game, as well as kicking four goals this season playing through the wing, inside midfield and up forward.

Both Morrison and Prespakis are among Geelong's nominees for the AFLPA MVP award.

Annabel Johnson, who is also in contention for the AFLPA's Most Courageous Player award, proved an incredible asset in defence for Geelong after returning from a foot fracture that ended her debut season prematurely.

The 22-year-old played every match in Season 7 and was an intercepting force to be reckoned with, seemingly reading the play better than anyone out of the field. Johnson averaged 10.7 disposals, 3.3 marks and 2.1 tackles a game.

Morrison (2019) and Prespakis (2022 Season 6) are both in the 22under22 team for the second time, while it is Johnson's first time being named in the fan-voted side.

The AFLPA MVP Awards will also be presented this week, with the winners announced on Wednesday.
