A driver of competitive work ethic standards, Georgie Rankin has been thriving since moving to defence in 2022. Rankin took her pressure output to a new level in Season 7, with a career-high average of 3.7 tackles per game. Rankin has established her place in Geelong’s back five, generating important attack off the half-back line. Rankin was part of the Cats’ leadership group in Seasons 6 and 7, and is still a strong leading figure on the list.
