Knevitt added seven AFL games to his career tally in 2025, making a promising start to the year before returning to VFL level and dominating late in the season. 

Starting his campaign at the top level, Knevitt impressed in Round 1 with a 21-disposal and 11-tackle outing against Fremantle, backing that up with 16 disposals and a goal against St Kilda the following week. 

An injury interrupted the middle of his campaign, but the on-baller returned to the VFL Cats with a bang and averaged 22 disposals per game across his last eight games at the level. 

Knevitt signed a one-year contract extension at the end of the year, which will see him remain at Geelong until at least the end of 2026.
