One of the most exciting trade acquisitions in recent memory saw Geelong land Bailey Smith ahead of the 2025 AFL season. 

Widely regarded as one of the competition's top young midfielders, Smith joins from the Western Bulldogs where he played 103 games over his first five seasons at the top level. 

2022 was a notable season in Smith's career, averaging over 29 disposals and six inside 50's per game. 

Unfortunately he missed the 2024 season after sustaining an ACL injury, but Smith has hit the track for his first pre-season with the Cats. 

The 24 year old will certainly be one for Geelong fans to keep an eye on in 2025, as he pulls on the Hoops for the first time.
