GEELONG has named its Round 15 team that will play Brisbane at the Gabba on Thursday night.

Key defender Lachie Henderson returns to the side after being a late withdrawal last week against the Bulldogs with a hip injury.

Henderson replaces midfielder Mitch Duncan who is set for an extended period on the sidelines after scans revealed a PCL injury.

Quinton Narkle also makes way for the Cats.

Narkle will be in contention to be the medical substitute alongside Gryan Miers, Zach Guthrie and Rhys Stanley who've also been named as emergencies.

Thursday's game will commence at 7.30pm, with the medical substitute to be named an hour prior to the first bounce.

Star defender Tom Stewart will play his 100th AFL game. The 28-year-old made his debut in 2017 and quickly established himself as an important member of Geelong's best 22. The two-time All Australian came through Geelong's VFL pathway after working as a carpenter.
