The VFLW Bendigo Bank Cats will be looking to return to the winner’s list against the Western Bulldogs at VU Whitten Oval at 2pm on Saturday.

This is the first away game of the season for Geelong, who are fifth on the ladder after two wins and two losses. The Western Bulldogs started their season with a convincing win but sit in ninth place with a 1-3 record.

The Cats will be aiming to improve their composure in pressure situations and in front of goals, after being unable to fully capitalise on opportunities in last week’s loss against Port Melbourne.

“We’ll definitely work on having a bit more pressure when we’re doing our goal kicking at training to ensure we’re used to that ground ball pick up and score type of situation,” VFLW coach Andrew Bruce said after the game.

Both sides will be hungry for a victory before next weekend’s competition bye for the Easter long weekend.
