The Bendigo Bank Cats are set to host Coburg in a VFL practice match against Coburg on Saturday afternoon at Deakin.

The hit-out will provide an opportunity for 15 AFL listed Cats who missed out on selection in Geelong's Round 1 clash against Adelaide to press a case for a recall for Round 2.

Jack Henry will be one of those. The 22-year-old was named an AFL emergency for Round 1 and is set to miss just his third AFL game since making his debut in Round 2, 2018.

Irishman Zach Tuohy is another who will be looking to showcase his value to the team after an interrupted off-season with back spasms.

Recent draftees Max Holmes, Nick Stevens and Shannon Neale, and Category B rookie Paul Tsapatolis will also play.

Former AFL-listed Cats Darcy Lang and Jackson Thurlow lead the 12-man VFL contingent.

The match-up at Deakin University will commence at 1pm.
