The Deakin Cats Community Centre, which is host to Cats in the Community programs including BioCATS, is open again for 2021.

After an interrupted 2020, the Deakin Cats Community Centre has opened its doors again for 2021.

The Deakin Cats Community Centre is a purpose-built facility designed to facilitate community, education and learning, and is the hub for delivery of the club’s community programs, including Djilang, BioCATS and, from 2021, some GMHBA Healthy Heroes programming too.

The centre is made available at no charge to community groups who meet the criteria of encouraging healthy and active lifestyles for all ages and abilities.

Following an interrupted year last year, the club is excited to be able to welcome visitors back to the centre.

The Deakin Cats Community Centre is located on the ground floor of the Players Stand at GMHBA Stadium, and is now entering its ninth year. It has welcomed more than 121,000 visitors through its doors in that time.

As well as its meeting rooms, the centre is also home to the Gartland Heritage Centre and the Sensory Zone.
