Brandan Parfitt was a big improver for the Cats in 2020.

Brandan Parfitt and Rhys Stanley have been recognised by coaches' Chris Scott and Ken Hinkley for their performances in Geelong's 16-point qualifying final loss to Port Adelaide on Thursday night.

Parfitt was one of Geelong's shining lights with a consistent performance across all four quarters.

The 22-year-old finished with 16 disposals (nine contested) and three tackles to receive two votes.

Stanley made an instant impact in his first AFL game since Round 14. 

The Geelong ruckman kicked two goals and had 17 hitouts to earn one vote from the coaches.

Port Adelaide's Ollie Wines was adjudged best-on-ground.
