Gryan Miers has become just the second Cat to be named in the AFLPA 22 Under 22 side, joining Steven Motlop who was named in the 2012 and 2013 sides. 

It is the first time that Miers has featured in the team, which celebrates the League's best young players under the age of 22.

The highly durable Cat was one of only eight players to feature in all 17 of Geelong's home and away games.

Miers has been one of Geelong's best attacking weapons inside 50 this season, kicking 16 majors to sit third behind Coleman Medallist Tom Hawkins (42) and Gary Rohan (19) for most goals.

He also increased his output up the ground this season averaging 14 disposals per game. The 21-year-old also ranked inside the top 10 at the club for score involvements, inside 50s and ground ball gets.

A total of 12 teams are represented in the final side.

An initial 40-man squad was selected by the AFLPA board, with the final team voted on by fans over the last fortnight.
