AFTER a season like no other, we're set for a finals series like none before. 

Geelong will play minor premiers Port Adelaide in the first qualifying final. 

The Cats finished fourth on the ladder at the conclusion of the home and away season with a 12-5 record.

Geelong last played Port Adelaide in Round 12 when they recorded a 60-point win. 

The eight finalists will take a well-earned break during the pre-finals bye weekend before the race for the flag begins on Thursday, October 1. 

The full week one fixture including dates, times and venues will be released later in the week.
