Lions lose stars

Brisbane has lost two of their star players ahead of the clash with the Cats on Saturday

Brisbane will be without two of their key position players for Saturday's clash with the Cats.

Defender Daniel Merrett has undergone ankle surgery for a fracture he suffered in Sunday's win over the Western Bulldogs.

Club champion Jonathan Brown has also undergone surgery for a knee injury suffered in the season.
