GEELONG Football Club Vice President Diana Taylor has called upon the Cats community to get behind the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Voyage for Equality on 2 March.

Ahead of the blockbuster Australia versus New Zealand match a list of local leaders and identities will rally Geelong locals, boarding the Geelong Flyer for a Voyage for Equality to Melbourne’s Junction Oval on 2 March.

Port Phillip Ferries have discounted seats to $5 for children and $10 for adults while tickets to the T20 World Cup match are $5 for children and start from just $20 for adults.

“The Geelong Football Club has long recognised and supported women in sport and gender equity initiatives,” Taylor says.

“We know first-hand through our AFLW and VFLW programs how important it is to have significant community support.”

“The Geelong Cats are very pleased to support the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Voyage for Equity during the week that we celebrate International Women’s Day”.
