Nina Morrison (23 disposals, 14 contested, 8 tackles)

Morrison produced an outstanding four quarter performance in Geelong’s engine room leading the way for the Cats in total possessions, contested possessions, clearances and tackles. Throw in a score assist and five rebounds from 50 and that doesn’t fully explain just how dominant she was.

Olivia Purcell (21 disposals, 10 contested, 4 inside 50s)

Was excellent once again for the Cats winning plenty of the ball and working hard on the outside with 10 handball receives. Purcell was fierce in the contest and along with Morrison had a big third term to help the Cats get on top.

Richelle Cranston (One goal, 18 disposals, 2 clearances)

‘Rocky’ produced her best performance of the season and was dangerous throughout. Her thrilling snap on the three-quarter time siren was a highlight and helped give the Cats the momentum heading into the final term.

Meghan McDonald (13 disposals, 3 rebound 50s)

Backed up her best-on-ground performance last week with another consistent effort down back. McDonald was particularly important in the first half with nine of her 13 disposals coming when the Suns had the ascendency and won the inside 50 battle.

Julia Crockett-Grills (14 disposals, 2 clearances, 2 tackles)

A typically tough performance on-ball for the Cats. Crockett-Grills was relentless throughout and played an important role in helping the Cats midfield get on top in the second half. She is always prepared to put her body on the line for the team.
