The Geelong Cats have rushed past the 50,000 member mark ahead of their second JLT Community Series game at GMHBA Stadium this Thursday night.

The 2018 membership of 65,314 established a new club record, with the club chasing 68,000 members in 2019.

With nine home games at GMHBA Stadium and two blockbuster home matches at the MCG, membership has never been more attractive for Cats supporters.

“There are a wide range of membership products available for 2019,” Cats Chief Commercial Officer Braith Cox said.

“We have general admission memberships, reserved seat memberships, three game packages and a new five game membership for games in Melbourne will be released shortly.

“With the JLT series coming to GMHBA Stadium next week, and members gaining free entry, this is great opportunity to commit to the Cats in 2019.

“Our first home game is against Melbourne in round two, and this will be one of the most eagerly awaited clashes at GMHBA Stadium for many years, so it is imperative that people lock in their memberships ahead of this game to ensure entry to the ground.

“To have over 50,000 dedicated and passionate members on board at this stage of the year is a great sign for our football club. The support of our members is vital to our success and we thank those who have already signed up.”

Geelong Cats memberships are available to purchase online at membership.geelongcats.com.au or at GMHBA Stadium during business hours.
