Geelong’s VFLW side will travel to Olympic Park for their round two clash against the Magpies on Sunday.

The match will commence at 2.30pm and form part of a triple header, with all three Geelong teams taking on Collingwood in the Melbourne Park precinct.

The Cats have made three changes to their side which won its round one match against Melbourne University.

Evelyn Dhamarrandji and Bianca Cheever will make their debuts, while Laura Taylor comes in for her first game of the year.

Dhamarrandji is part of the Cats Next Generation Academy (NGA). She moved down with her younger sister Justina from Galiwin’ku (Elcho Island) in East Anrhem Land. The two attend Belmont High School and are both involved in the club’s NGA program.

Bianca Cheever is new the sport, having previously played netball for the Geelong Cougars in the Victorian Netball League and basketball for the Geelong Supercats.

Her elite sporting background has enabled her to pick up the skills of the game very quickly and after just one game of senior football at local level she is ready to make her VFLW debut.
