The Geelong Cats are pleased to announce Corey Enright will join the Club’s coaching group ahead of the 2027 AFL season. 

Following a decorated playing career at Geelong that included 332 games, three Premierships, six All Australians and two Carji Greeves medals, Enright transitioned into coaching following his retirement at the end of the 2016 season. He initially worked across the Club’s development program before being appointed as an assistant coach. 

Enright joined St Kilda as an assistant coach ahead of the 2022 season, spending two years overseeing the Club’s defence. He then moved into the role of Head of Gameplan and Strategy, a position he held for the past two seasons.

Geelong Cats Executive General Manager of Football Andrew Mackie said the Club is pleased to welcome Enright back to the Cats.  

“We’re excited to have Corey return to the Club and join our experienced coaching group. 

“Over the past five years, Corey has continued to develop and broaden his coaching experience across a range of roles. He has a proven ability to build strong relationships, along with an outstanding understanding of the game. 

“We look forward to the impact Corey will have on our football program as we turn our attention to 2027.”
