The Geelong Cats can provide the following GMHBA Health Update ahead of their Round 24 game against Richmond at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday night. 

Jake Kolodjashnij will be unavailable for AFL selection against Richmond. The Club is continuing to work through Jake's availability beyond Round 24. The Club’s VFL team has the bye this weekend with VFL Wildcard Finals.

James Worpel will miss the next 2 - 4 weeks with a right hamstring strain which he sustained in the final quarter of the match against North Melbourne.

Oli Wiltshire will be a test this week with a foot sprain, which he also picked up in last Saturday's game.

Max Holmes continues to move forward in his recovery, commencing running this week, while Keighton Matofai-Forbes will join the squad for non-contact training as he closes in on a potential return for VFL Finals.

Harley has made steady progress following his ACL injury which he sustained prior to being drafted. He has steadily increased his running and athletic training loads and is tracking well through the next phase of his program. Harley has transitioned into more football specific drills, with his progression through this phase helping inform his training program for the remainder of 2026.  

Toby continues to rehabilitate and establish loads following foot and knee surgery. The remainder of the 2026 season will be used to establish a base from which Toby can progress through the 2027 pre-season.
