Tickets are now on sale for the most prestigious night on the Geelong Football Club calendar, with the 2026 Carji Greeves Medal returning to the Palladium at Crown on Thursday, October 1. 

The event takes a look back at all the highs of the season and celebrates Geelong's standout performers, before one player will take home the Cats' best and fairest award, the Carji Greeves Medal. 

Named after Edward ‘Carji’ Greeves, Geelong’s first Brownlow Medallist, the award is presented to the player adjudged the best and most consistent across the season, based on coaches’ votes from every match. 

Last year, Max Holmes clinched his second consecutive Carji Greeves Medal (175 votes), becoming just the 28th player in club history to win the award twice. In his first season with the Cats, Bailey Smith finished in second place with 155 votes, while Jeremy Cameron rounded out the podium placings with 145 votes. 

The 2026 race is shaping up to be an exciting one, with a number of players a chance to feature strongly in the votes and many eyeing their first Carji Greeves Medal. 

The 2026 Carji Greeves Medal night will feature exclusive interviews with players and coaches, season highlights, tributes to club legends, and live entertainment, all wrapped around a three-course dining experience.
