Geelong Cats are thrilled to announce renowned Australian fashion brand SABA as a Premier Partner of the Club's AFLW program.

The Cats and SABA share a longstanding connection, dating back to 2000 when Geelong players took to the SABA runway at the Melbourne Spring Fashion Festival, led by SABA founder Joe Saba.

Now, 26 years later, the two organisations reunite ahead of the 2026 AFLW season as the Club prepares for Round 1 under the leadership of new senior coach Mick Stinear and co-captains Nina Morrison and Becky Webster.

To mark the partnership, the Cats and SABA collaborated on a photoshoot at GMHBA Stadium, with AFLW and AFL players swapping their footy boots for SABA's latest new-season collection. The campaign celebrates the shared values of confidence, performance and style that unite both brands.

Geelong Cats Chief Operating Officer Marcus King said: “We are thrilled to welcome SABA to the Geelong Cats family as a Premier Partner of our AFLW program. With anticipation building ahead of the season, we look forward to bringing this partnership to life alongside SABA.

"SABA has long been an iconic part of the Australian fashion landscape, and we are excited to see our longstanding relationship evolve through this new partnership. We both share a commitment to excellence and inspiring confidence, making this a natural fit as we continue to grow our AFLW program.”

SABA’s General Manager, Lucinda Grice said “Reconnecting with the Geelong Football Club after so many years, and doing it as an official partner of the women's team, means a great deal to us. SABA has been part of Australian wardrobes for 60 years and this is a chance to honour that history while backing where the game is going.

Our customer doesn't dress in silos. The same blazer goes to work on Thursday, dinner on Friday and the stadium on a Saturday, we are very much about meeting our customer where they are.”

The Cats' AFLW season commences on 1pm Saturday 15 August against reigning premiers North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium, as a historic double header alongside the men’s team.
