Geelong will continue its AFLW preseason preparations on Saturday afternoon, travelling north to take on Brisbane in a practice match at Brighton Homes Arena.

Following a strong pre-season under new Senior Coach Mick Stinear, the Cats will get the opportunity to use their preparations before the home and away season begins in August.

The practice match comes after Geelong completed a pair of match simulation sessions during the pre-season, providing valuable opportunities for the team to build chemistry and adapt to the club’s new game style. Saturday’s clash will be another important step as the Cats continue building towards round one.
