Geelong's AFLW team are set for their final pre-season hit-out, as they head north to take on Brisbane in a practice game on Saturday afternoon. 

It will be the final tune-up for new head coach Mick Stinear and his side, following two match simulations in recent weeks as preparation for the upcoming campaign. 

The practice match will provide a chance for some of the Cats' more experienced players to get some valuable game time under their belts, while also giving some younger talents the opportunity to press their case for selection. 

Following this game, attention will then turn to Geelong's blockbuster season opener against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium.
