Two Cats stars have received coaches votes in Geelong's Round 15 defeat to Fremantle at Optus Stadium. 

For the fifth consecutive week, Max Holmes has featured in the votes to continue his sensational season, receiving two votes against Fremantle to take his season tally to 65 votes. 

Thrust into a more permanent midfield role, Holmes collected a team-high 27 disposals against the Dockers to go with five clearances, three goal assists and nearly 600 metres gained, a well-rounded performance against the competition's best. 

The other Geelong player to feature in the votes was young defender Connor O'Sullivan, who received votes for the third time in the last four weeks after another brilliant outing. 

Often entrusted on the last line of defence, O'Sullivan gathered 16 disposals and took 11 marks, equalling his career-high with six intercept marks from his eight intercept possessions. 

Tasked with keeping dominant forward Josh Treacy quiet, the young defender did a commendable job as he held Fremantle's spearhead to just nine disposals and two goals, his second-lowest disposal output in his previous 22 games.
