Geelong has selected their side for Thursday's big clash with Fremantle at Optus Stadium, making one change as they look to defeat the Dockers for the second time this year.

Returning to the side is Jack Bowes, who was a late withdrawal with hamstring tightness and missed last week's victory over the Gold Coast Suns.

The lone change for this week is Bailey Smith, who will miss Thursday's game through illness.

Round 15 will see a number of players celebrate milestones, with Shaun Mannagh and Lawson Humphries set to play their 50th AFL games, while Tanner Bruhn will also feature in his 50th game for the club.

Chris Scott and Mark Blicavs will also break a long-standing record this week, as the pair are involved in their 307th game together which breaks the previous record held by Jock McHale and Gordon Coventry, for the most games by a player and coach pairing.
