Geelong has selected their team for Saturday's clash with the Gold Coast Suns, as they look to continue their hot form and extend their advantage on top of the VFL ladder.

Headlining four inclusions is forward Tyson Stengle, who has been selected to play his first game in the 2026 season.

Mitch Knevitt, Hunter Holmes and Nick Driscoll all return for Saturday's clash, bolstering Geelong's side as they search for a seventh consecutive victory.

Rhys Stanley and Brad Close will both miss this weekend through injury, Cats captain Dan Capiron will be managed and will not face the Suns, while Darcy Edmends also makes way.

Geelong sit two games clear on top of the VFL ladder and will be looking to extend that advantage, when they take on the Gold Coast Suns at GMHBA Stadium at 11.05am AEST on Saturday.

Every game of the 2026 Smithy's VFL season can also be streamed through the AFL app and via afl.com.au.
