Max Holmes and Lawson Humphries have both been recognised for their dominant outings against the Swans, the duo leading the way with nine coaches' votes in Saturday's big victory at GMHBA Stadium. 

With another nine votes, Holmes has continued his rapid ascension up the overall leaderboard and now sits in a share of third position, moving his tally to 50 votes for the season so far. 

The speedy Cat was incredible in Round 11, collecting a game-high 35 disposals, also adding eight clearances and nine score involvements to round out a superb display.

Humphries eclipsed his previous career-high with a 33-disposal outing against the Swans, also able to have an impact at both ends of the ground, registering eight score involvements and nine intercept possessions.

Bailey Smith was also awarded five votes for his performance on Saturday, taking his season tally to 48 votes and sitting narrowly behind Holmes in a share of sixth position on the overall leaderboard. 

Copping a heavy tag in the opening half, Smith broke the game open after the main break and collected a whopping 18 disposals in the third term alone, going on to have a profound impact with 32 disposals and seven clearances for the game. 

Jack Martin has received his first votes of the 2026 season, awarded three votes after collecting 16 disposals and kicking a goal against the Swans. 

It caps off a solid run of form for Martin, who has kicked goals in eight of his last nine matches, becoming the 16th Geelong player to feature in the votes this year.

Gryan Miers received two coaches' votes after collecting 24 disposals against Sydney, going at a strong 83.3% efficiency and registering eight score involvements in another solid performance. 

Jeremy Cameron rounded out the votes for Round 11, roaming up the ground to collect 21 disposals and 10 marks before working hard back inside 50, hitting the scoreboard with three goals. 

The AFL Coaches Association’s Champion Player Award is an award voted by the 18 coaching panels on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 basis after each home and away game, acknowledging outstanding effort by an individual player in a season.
