Geelong has selected their team for a Saturday afternoon blockbuster, as they prepare to host the ladder-leading Sydney Swans at GMHBA Stadium.

For the first time this year, the Cats will remain unchanged as they opt to take in the same team that stormed to a comfortable victory over Brisbane at the Gabba last Thursday.

Captain Patrick Dangerfield will lead his side into Saturday's contest, set to be the 367th game of his AFL career which moves the Cats champion into outright 13th position on the all-time leaderboard for V/AFL games played.

It will also mark the second week of the AFL's Sir Doug Nicholls Round, with Geelong to wear their 2026 First Nations Guernsey which was designed by Meeza and Lawson Humphries along with their family, with the Cats to wear the blue version on Saturday afternoon.

Geelong Cats v Sydney Swans

Round 11

GMHBA Stadium, Geelong • VIC

A monumental clash between first and third place on the ladder awaits this weekend, as two premiership contenders in Geelong and Sydney prepare to go toe-to-toe at GMHBA Stadium.

The Cats will be looking to build on their strong form in recent weeks, most notably taking down Brisbane by 41 points last Thursday, while the Swans have been red-hot with a 9-1 record through the opening 10 rounds of the season.

Limited tickets are available through Ticketmaster, but the best way to catch Saturday's game is to purchase a 3 or 5 game reserved seat membership. Purchase your reserved seat so you do not miss a moment of the action at GMHBA Stadium.

For those who can not attend on Saturday, the game will be broadcast on Fox Footy or streamed through Kayo from 4.00pm AEST, or listen to all the action on K rock from 3.00pm.
