It was one of the great individual performances and it led Geelong to a stirring victory over Brisbane, with Shaun Mannagh awarded a perfect 10 coaches' votes for his inspirational outing against the Lions on Thursday night.

Mannagh reached 30 disposals for the first time in his AFL journey and added a career-high five goals, breaking the game open in the third term with three unanswered goals to help Geelong reach an unassailable lead at a pivotal moment in the match.

He would also add three goal assists and 14 score involvements for good measure, with Mannagh's outstanding performance taking him to a season tally of 24 votes which is the third most of any Cats player to this point of 2026.

Tom Stewart and Bailey Smith were adjudged the next best players on the ground with both receiving seven votes from the coaches, the star duo having a significant impact in a big victory.

Stewart patrolled half back to great effect, collecting a season-high 28 disposals and amassing 17 intercept possessions (seven intercept marks), more than double the intercept total of any other player on the ground.

Smith continues to build a sensational campaign after collecting 34 disposals and kicking two goals against the Lions, while also finishing the match with 12 score involvements, 11 tackles and six intercept possessions.

The superstar midfielder now moves to a season tally of 43 votes which surpasses Max Holmes for the highest polling Geelong player, while also moving into a share of sixth position on the overall leaderboard.

One of Geelong's most consistent performers in 2026, Oisin Mullin has received coaches votes for the third consecutive week and for the fifth time in the last eight rounds, awarded two votes to take his season tally to 16 which is the fourth most of any Geelong player.

The Irishman continues to evolve collecting 17 disposals against Brisbane and kicking the third goal of his career, also laying nine tackles and recording seven score involvements while still nullifying the impact of Lachie Neale in another stellar outing.
