Geelong has selected Cameron Taheny with pick 50 in the 2019 NAB AFL Draft.

Taheny is a dynamic left-footed medium forward from Norwood in South Australia.

He had an injury interrupted 2019 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, but managed to be closer to his best against the Allies where he gathered 21 disposals.

Taheny played some excellent senior football at Norwood kicking five goals against West Adelaide and four goals against Glenelg, averaging 2.5 goals in seven matches this year.


Geelong traded their 63rd selection along with their future third and fourth rounds picks to secure pick 50 and select the South Australian forward.
