Geelong has named their round 12 team to play Richmond at the MCG on Friday night.

Gary Ablett has been named to return after serving a one-game suspension for striking.

The little master has been in superb form this season, averaging 21 disposals and two-goals per game.

Joining Ablett to face the Tigers on Friday night will be ruckman Rhys Stanley.

Stanley has recovered from an adductor injury which saw him miss the Geelong’s win against the Swans.

Out for the Cats are James Parsons and Zac Smith.

Both players have been named emergencies alongside Lachie Fogarty and Jed Bews.

Friday night’s contest at the MCG promises to be an intriguing battle with both sides fighting for a place in the top four this season.

The first bounce will be at 7.50pm.
