Scott on the review of Opening Round
It is not negative and we weren't negative.
I wouldn't describe it as ugly, I would describe it as productive.
There are some learnings to come out of it, but I think we move forward pretty quickly.
We are focused on what our game looks like at its best, it wasn't in that game but we are optimistic that it can be in this one.
Scott on Mitch Edwards' debut
Yeah it is really exciting for Mitch.
He has had a great pre-season and he is the type of player, the type of ruckman in particular, that we haven't really played for a while.
I would say he is not unique necessarily, there are a lot of really big guys out there in that 206 to 208cm range and a real athlete. If you asked me 20 years ago I would say they are unicorns, they are unique but there are so many big and athletic guys now.
But it is not just his size and ruck craft that is appealing to us, it is his athleticism. We are looking forward to seeing that on display, because he has the attributes to be a real threat for the opposition in a variety of ways.
He is one that is ready to play and ready to perform, that is the esteem in which we hold him after his pre-season.
Scott on the Cats' last clash with Fremantle
Well that is a long time ago. With the exception of the time of year, the venue and the opposition, I am not sure it is that relevant.
But obviously you look at it, every team in the competition looks at the last time you played a team. It is rare that it is a full 12 months ago.
They are missing a couple this week as well, they were missing a couple last time we played them.
We are just really aware of their talent. The list that they have built over a very long period of time looks really capable to us.
They were a deserved Finals team last year, they would have to be red-hot favourites to be a Finals team again. That is certainly the way we view them.
Scott on the return of Cameron and Dangerfield
I was confident last week and I was wrong, but I was only relaying what had been relayed to me.
It took us by surprise a bit that those guys weren't available but as is often the case in that situation, it gives you even more confidence the following week.
They have been certainties in my mind from quite a long way out, so that will help.
I don't think anyone can cover their three best forwards and we missed them last week, we get two of them back this week and they will certainly help.
Scott on the Round 2 bye and VFL return
It is swings and roundabouts there, sometimes the VFL draw is painful and it makes it logistically difficult.
Other times you see opportunity, I think we are in that phase of the season where we will be able to get the right amount of rest into those who need it, and then the right amount of work into those who need it as well.
There are other times in the year that we have already looked at, thinking that will be a real challenge and we have to be thoughtful about it.
This is more in the opportunity bucket.
