Bowes on the pre-season
Pre-season has been great.
We are looking forward to getting into games, it has come around really quick.
We had a big session on Monday, looking forward to a bit of craft today.
We are building into what will hopefully be a really good 2026.
Bowes on the playing group's progress
We just started some match simulation on Monday and a bit last week.
It is great this time of year where we can try a few different things, put players in different positions and try to get a little bit of a different mix and balance within the group.
Individually, I don't really like singling anyone out or putting too much pressure on anyone.
But as a group, I think we are building nicely and I think we still have a few things we will need to tweak with our game plan.
Hopefully we can build some momentum over the next few weeks, get into practice matches and then into the season.
Bowes on Community Camp
Warrnambool has been great, it is obviously awesome to get down here.
We have reached 3,500 people over the last couple of days, through schools and the super clinics yesterday.
It is awesome to get here, the fans and the community here have been awesome.
Bowes on his role
My role is pretty similar, I just try and be flexible where I can.
Training throughout the pre-season, I really enjoy because I try a lot of different positions.
It is an opportunity for me to add some new roles to my game, I am in a position where I play wherever the team needs me.
Whatever is going to help us try and win games of footy, that is what I enjoy doing.
Bowes on the autonomy at Geelong
I think it does help, essentially it adds a little bit of balance to your life.
I like to get out on the golf course or study, things like that.
The club is really open to those opportunities, to go and try and those things.
I haven't been overseas or played for Ireland or anything like that, but I certainly do enjoy the freedom as well.
