Waller on Nicola Stevens
We are really excited to add Nicola to the club.
Obviously we have had over 250 games of AFLW experience go out of the program, so to bring in someone like Nicola that can help our young defenders through the next couple of years and their development.
We are really excited to have someone of Nicola's status in our program.
Waller on Alissa Brook
With Alissa joining our defensive group, we also think that she is someone that might be able to provide us with a bit of depth from a backup ruck point of view.
Some of the players that we have used in that backup ruck role over recent years have come off our list, so we think Alissa with her athleticism is someone that can give us a bit of help in that area.
But primarily, she will be with our defensive group throughout next year.
Waller on Geelong's new AFLW coach
To get someone of Mick's status in the game as coach of our program is wonderful for everyone.
We are really looking forward to him getting his feet behind the desk, and even the fact now that he is onboard means that he can have some overview of the draft on Monday night.
He will have some input there, to make sure we have got the players that cover off on all areas of the ground.
Waller on Jasmin Stewart
Jasmin Stewart is another one that brings a great deal of AFLW experience to the program. Obviously she previously played at both Fremantle and Port Adelaide.
Whether it is through the midfield or up forward, Jasmin is another one that gives us some options in those parts of the ground.
Another one that we are really excited to have join the program.
Waller on Emma Murray
It is very exciting to have our fourth Irish player. Obviously we were very disappointed to lose Anna-Rose Kennedy last season, but incredibly excited to have Emma join us.
We have been in discussions with Emma for a long period of time, she had a very successful year last year as captain of Waterford.
She was the first Waterford player since 2007 to be named an All-Star, which is an amazing achievement. Had a very successful year as the captain of her club, and is one of the hardest running players in the Irish game.
We really think she can adapt her skillset to AFLW.
