Barker on the adjustment to Geelong
It is, I kind of prepared myself knowing that there was only two clubs in South Australia.
There was only a slight chance I would be staying, not looking at picks throughout the year but I knew that they didn't have any picks around where I was sitting.
I got my head around it really early that I was going to be moving state, starting my own journey which I was pretty excited to get over and get into it.
Barker on his injury
It is always there, it is always a given that clubs are a bit iffy about it.
It is what it is, but I know that I will come back and hopefully get into games as quick as I can, to show that I can play at the AFL level.
Holmes on his experience so far
It has been unreal.
Obviously it has been my dream to get here, so it is pretty cool to get in and amongst it.
It has been great to meet all the boys, to get in and start some training. It has been a lot of fun.
Holmes on what has been the biggest shock
I think it is just how long the days are.
I got in on Monday, got in at 8am and I think I didn't leave the club until 5.
It is big days, but a lot of fun.
Barker on the excitement around joining Geelong
The history is massive, knowing that they have been pretty successful for many years.
The people that come through the club are pretty good, very big names like Selwood and Hawkins.
I am pretty excited, I know that the crew over here is really good. I knew that I was coming into a really good club, that is pretty close and connected.
Holmes on his connection with the club
I was lucky enough to know a couple of the younger boys that are close with Max.
I have done some training with them in the past, and had some chats with them which makes that transition a little bit easier.
It is still great to meet all of the other boys as well, so it has been good.
Barker on what stands out about the Cats
I like the little flair that they have, they are quite a young group.
All their young players are coming through and really showing what they have.
Hopefully once I am back up and running, I can get into the team and prove I can stay in it. I want to show a bit of flair and play like an Ollie Dempsey.
Holmes on inheriting the number 22
He has been a great player for the club, and has put on the jumper a lot of times.
It is a real privilege to follow in his footsteps, hopefully to make it my own as well.
We had a couple of options given to us, I saw 22 and was really happy to take that.
